Dr. Erika Eeds
Upon his retirement in January 2019, Dr. Frank Means handpicked a chiropractor to replace him who would provide his same level of commitment to the health and wellbeing of his patients.
Dr. Erika Eeds is a life-long chiropractic patient herself having grown up with a grandfather who was a chiropractor. 'I was a fully grown adult before I realized that not everyone goes to a chiropractor,' she remembers. 'As a youngster, I loved getting adjusted because it meant I got to see my Granddad. Of course, feeling great afterward was an added bonus!'
After completing an internship at a multidisciplinary clinic in Maryland, Dr. Eeds graduated from Parker University in 2018. At Parker, she was trained in multiple chiropractic techniques and is even certified to perform chiropractic on animals! She has an undergraduate degree in English from Southern Methodist University. Dr. Eeds has been on a chiropractic mission trip to El Salvador where she was part of a team that provided chiropractic to people who would have had no access to care otherwise.
Today, patients of all ages appreciate the all-natural approach that Dr. Eeds brings as a true believer in the benefits of chiropractic care. 'Our bodies were designed to heal themselves,' she says. 'My job is to help my patients operate at their maximum potential. I do that by providing consistent chiropractic care, then letting their bodies do the rest.'
Dr. Eeds lives in Corsicana and is eager to serve you and your family, including your pets, with gentle, effective, chiropractic care. 'Like my grandfather provided,' she fondly states.
In addition to the chiropractic adjustment Dr. Eeds can counsel you on the proper use of exercise and supplementation (vitamins, minerals, herbs) to help speed your recovery. As a recent graduate she is up to date on the latest techniques, physical therapy modalities, rehabilitative exercises and cutting edge technology to help you heal faster and more completely.
